The 16 september day.A rememberance of the Sabah and Sarawak Joined the Malay Peninsula to form Malaysia.
For 46 years,we have seen the changes when sabah and sarawak joined the Malay Peninsula to form the states of Malaysia. Before i elaborating issue further, let slook to the history before the existence of Malaysia. Before Malaysia existed in 1963,Senanjung Melayu or Malay peninsula was just achieved the independence day on 31 august 1957 from british colonial power,Sabah and Sarawak at that time was still in Crown Colony under british Colonial Powers.Somehow in 1960s,there is widely of the Confrotation Issues as well as the sentiments of People of Sabah and Sarawak for their nation need to achive the independence.During the 1960s,the issue of the creation of the malaysia which consist the Brunei,Singapore,Senanjung Malaya as well as the Sabah and Sarawak was first presented by the then prime Minister Allahyarham Tunku Abdul Rahman during the speech at the Adelphi Hotel In Singapore.A commision called Cobold commision was set up which led by the UN member that lead by the Commisioner Lord Cobbold. The Cobold Commison consist five members which objectives to investigate whether the Sabah and Sarawak people are agreed or not agreed to join the Federated Malay state.
Despite that Sarawak and Sabah had been joined the malaysia since 1963,Sarawak state still lagging behind in terms of infrastructure and development that need to catch up with the other counterpart of state.Rural area like Kapit,Bario,Belaga,Julau and the Mukah are still poor in frastructure that badly needed such as road, water, electricty and the public ammenities such as School and so on.Despite Sabah and Sarawak disribute 90% oil royalty to Federal government,Sarawak still lagging behind of it . It is hope that old policy should be change this time and the oil royalty should increase from 5% to 30% oil royalty to the state government especially Sabah and Sarawak so that this two states continue to catch up fast development. To me as sarawakian,i see the huge gap between sabah and Sarawak and the Senanjung Malay. This disparity of the economy should not be existed.
However, the federal government should gave huge Financial allocation to the Sarawak and Sabah for this two east malaysian state are part of Malaysian.Discriminatory policies that related to the non muslims as well as the Dayak people should be abolished. The Governmet should be more transparent when helping to the other races such Dayak people, minority races likes Penan,Kelabit and Kenyah.Eventhough right know with introduction of the 1malaysian concept but to me i am doubt of it.Certain malaysian people especially the senanjung malay people still regard the sarawakian state as poor state in malaysia.I was very sad and disheartening of what the Senanjung people saying that the borneo people esepecially the sabah and sarawak people are poor state.Yet another previous statement by the Pas Chief saying that people in rural area still wearing Cawat.Such uncivil-minded people should be discard.
As Sarawakian people,i hope that incoming the future that sarawak state continue to be prosper and ruled by the Sarawakian people. Let us remind our selves that without the existence of Sabah and Sarawak in Malaysia, definely Name of Malaysia will not existed.Let remind to the younger Generation that the true Malaysian independence achieved when malaysian people celebrated the Malaysian independence on 16 september 1963.

For several months ago,we were shocked with the death of the political aide to the Selangor Executive councillor,Teoh Beng Hock who was found death in the vicinity of MACC Selangor headquarters on July.He was believed to have fallen from the 14th floor. To me,it was very shocked for such young man should fight for the good cause found dead in MACC Selangor headquarters. It was really shocked and to make me suprise that it was found dead on the office of the MACC.How come he found dead on that building. To me,i was wondering where is the security surviallance on that building MACC Building that we highly respected as commision that fought against the corruption problem. Why should be happened?
I was wondering,is there any death ploy which perpuated by the UMNO people, after all,he was witness for the corruption cases.I also question the integrity of MACC in conducting the duty and their proffesionalisme. How come the this witness were found death on this MACC building? This young witness should be protected by MACC for giving the information and MACC officer to facilitate the investigation of the corruption cases. This is another puzzle question that should be answers by the MACC officer itself.Or probably the MACC is the another Najib propaganda machine that attempted to crackdown the oppisition parties and people. If this true, mean that the MACC are losing the trust and faith from Malaysian people. For me,this incident remind me to the another prevois story which the death of the A.Kugan who was found death while in police custody.I also question the integrity and proffesiolisme of the Malaysian Police when conducting their duty and handling the prisoner while in Jail. Are there performed their duty well as well the transparent when handling the certain crimal cases.
As Malaysian, this case should not be happenned in that building for we believe that MACC is the independent commision to fight not just corruption cases but also the money politics and emblezzement finds that rampant in malaysian socity and politics.
I believe every Malaysian people really want the authorities to fight the corruption cases. It is just how they performed their duty.
The death of A.kugan in the police custody and the death of Ten Beng Hock in MACC building reminds how the police and the MACC conducting their duties when handling the certain cases. To MACC and the Police,i urged this two enforcement agency to be transparent and accountability when performed their duties. They should be more intergrity and honest when handling the certain criminal cases.
Let just hope that in ther future, that this two incident shall never happened again the future.
15 SEPTEMBER 2009.
In the process, the severed head of a cow was produced and some overzealous protestors stepped on it.It was recorded by the Malaysiakini for all to see.To me as Malaysian people, this is very outrageous behaviour that should be not happened in our society.Instead of sending the Cow head as the sign protesters, the resident themselves should ues the proper channel to voice their grouse and concern. It is really disgusting and yet another sign shows that the element racist still existed in our society despite we been urged to promote peace and unity among the malaysian people. To me,this is should not happened. and the most shocking is that this cow are sacred animal to the Hindu people.I want ask question to them ,do you what are you doing?Have your religion ever teach you on how to respect the other people or races?Do you know that we live in peace in multiracial society and we should not offend the sensitivity of the other races?
As a Malaysian non Muslim, despite i am non muslims,i always believe that the Islam religion teach the muslim people to respect the other people belief and their sensitivity. To all Hindu people,i urged them to be sensibel and patients in this ugly episode.
As malaysian,i totally against of this violent behaviour that should not been happened. We should respect the belief and sensitivity of the other people. After all,we are malaysian that live in peace and unity and we are lucky for having the diversity culture that we should defend of it.Such incident that happened previous weeks ago are remind us that we as the mutiracial society still struglling to overcome the racissm issue as well as the racial polarisation that still rampant in our society today. To me,This prostester shoud be charged under Sedition Act for inciting the religious violence in Malaysia. For whatever reason ,do not use the sensitivity of the other races to voice the concern.Instead use the proper channel to voice the concern or grouse to the higher authorities.
For year and years,we have teach and though to promote the peace and unity among the multiracial society. As young people,we should thankfull to the God Almighty for we live in peace and unity and blessed with beautifull nation.
Let us remind ourselves that the Cow incidents shuold not happened in our society.Take it as lessons to us for promoting peace and unity among the malaysian people regardless of their respective races and religion.Let pray that the ugly episode should not happened again in the future.

PAS president admits making ‘cawat’ remarks By Raynore Mering
KUCHING: PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang has admitted to using the word ‘cawat’ (loincloth) on voters in Batang Ai, but denied he was insulting them.
Dato Sri Dr James Masing VS Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang
He said in a report on NST Online yesterday he was lashing out at Barisan Nasional (BN) leaders for fooling Sarawak voters into voting for the coalition and that it was not his intention to insult the voters.
“I feel sorry for them as they are being tricked by BN politicians. This has resulted in the voters not being brave enough to vote for a change unlike voters in Peninsular Malaysia,” he said at a ceramah in Kepala Batas on Sunday night.
To Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) president Dato Sri Dr James Masing, however, Hadi’s explanation for what was obviously an offensive comment was nothing more than rhetoric.
He also felt that the explanation was typical of Pakatan Rakyat (PR) leaders who played on the emotions of the people in the hope of turning them from the BN.
“The voters in Batang Ai are smart to vote for a credible political organisation in BN, than to vote for a new set up (PR) which is full of rhetoric and sweet promises which they know PR can’t deliver.
“Hadi will find that voters in Batang Ai vote with their head and not their heart, if he is smart enough to analyse the situation,” Masing, who is Land Development Minister, told The Borneo Post.
Reacting to Ngemah assemblyman Gabriel Adit’s call for forgiveness for Hadi for the remarks, Masing said: “How can the Dayak community forgive Hadi for his insulting remarks. After all we are mere humans and not divine beings as Adit correctly pointed out. For a mere mortal, sometimes the learning process can be costly.”
Adit, who is a member of Parti Keadilan Rakyat’s (PKR) State Leaders’ Council, had said on Monday that if indeed Hadi had uttered the remarks, he should be informed of the truth and facts about Sarawak.
“If he had said it (cawat), then he should be forgiven for his ignorance because he did not know what he was talking about. Forgive him. Teach him,” Adit said.
Hadi had spoken of the ‘cawat’ in a Malaysiakini report on July 11 in the run-up to the Manek Urai by-election.
He also said the voters in Batang Ai did not know how to vote.
He was quoted as saying: “Semua pilihanraya kecil sebelum ini keputusannya memihak kepada kita. Cuma di Batang Ai sahaja kita kalah sebab mereka ini tidak reti undi, pakai cawat lagi. Saya bukan nak hina tetapi tempat yang pakai molek, undi PAS.
“(In all previous by-elections, the results favoured us. Only in Batang Ai did we lose because they did not know how to vote, still wearing loincloth. I am not trying to insult, but those places dressed nicely, vote for PAS).”
In the Batang Ai by-election on April 7, PR was defeated by a BN greenhorn, Malcolm Mussen.
Mussen garnered 3,907 votes to win by a majority of 1,854 votes against Parti Keadilan Rakyat’s Jawah Gerang, the former five-time MP of Lubok Antu.
Held simultaneously with the Batang Ai by-election were by-elections in Bukit Gantang, Perak, and Bukit Selambau, Kedah.
In both seats, BN lost by a margin of more than 2,000 votes.
Hadi’s remarks had incurred the wrath of BN leaders, including Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Alfred Jabu, who demanded an apology from Hadi.
The PRS Batang Ai Youth Wing is planning to burn PAS flags in Engkilili town as a show of protest against Hadi’s remarks.
They are now awaiting a police permit for the gathering.
I was vey suprised to read recent borneopost nespaper online which publicity the statement of the Dayak people who were insult by the religious party leader, datuk seri abdul hadi wang which stated the dayak people still wear the cawat cloth despite voting the barisan national party in batang ai state election recently.I did not intend ingnite racial riot among the other communities but to share my view about that statement.
i was very sad and yet disheartening that another degradotory word or statement that issued by the reliogious leader condenming the dayak communities that they wearing the cawat cloth.Despite i am not dayak people, but it was very shamenfull for why this religious leader condenming the other communities.i was very dissappointed of this people who had shallow and uncivilised mind to condenm the other minority community. What they had done definely will going spark the racial riot amont the malaysia. For me,such staement only making the situation getting worse and i could disbelieve of this ignorant and insolent of this cleric leader for making the shamefull statemnt to the other communities. How we are going to promote the one malaysia concept if this people continue to lookdown other race as it looks likes he is racist guy.I am very disapponited of it.I hope that such that leader will shall never never again make that malicious statement in the future. After all we are malaysian people that always live in peace and unity with other communities. We should not lookdown with other communities. As sarawakian chinese people, we should never lookdown to the other communities.i always belive that other peopl have thier own cultural that should respected.Perhaps this religious leader should be dead for making that such stupid and fool statement that degradetory other minority races.
As Sarawakian,i always that leader should responsible for making any staemnt that not offended other communities.Let hope that we as malaysian will always live in tranquility and peace.

The recently launched of the new DUN building becam the latest landmark for the kuching people as well as the sarawak. As democractic state,we sholud be pround for its manifested of the building as a icon democracy which continue became main prinsip in our natin
The story of DUN building was first start when James Brooke led the first state council in Bintulu, sarawak in 19th century which was attended by the tribe chief from various ethnic as well as the the british colonial officer. It was became a first malaysian legislative assembly in malaysia.By the 2oth century the DUN assembly was moved to its new place at the Brooke Old Courtyard House which located near the India street currently. The historic building is still existed and has been listed as tourist attraction.By the 1960s,the sarawak at that time was still in brotish crown colony, the DUN Assembly was again moved to the new palce at the muzium Tun abdul razak. After joining the Mlayasian 16 september 1963,the State Govermnent needed the new legislative Building as well the permanet building. The new DUN Building was build at the petrajaya and was launched by the Tunku Abdul Rahman, then the prime minister at that time. The New DUN Building was lauched as sign of the entering of Sarawak state to Malaysia. The New DUN building was also house of the sarawak government such as Wisma Bapa Malaysia.

the history of sarawak.
The orang ulu warrior.'Agi idup agi ngeleban'
The diversity ethnic and multicultural of sarawak people.
THE CAT STATUE IN PADUNGAN ROAD,KUCHING
It is very disheartening yet another half baked policy.to me,as a malaysian citizen ,this cleary show us that our current leader are idiot and making unwise decision regarding of the ppsmi current policy which from 2012,the teaching of PPSMI back to Bahasa malaysia as medium of instruction in science and mathematic.
To me,this is very pathentic and yet another sign that our country will back to backward nation. As a student,by using english as medium of instruction in teaching science and mathematic,it will definely bringing our nation to move foirward .It is because in tis modern world,we cant denied that all knowledge that based on the science and mathematic subject are using the english language.after all,the most spoken language that spoken by people around the world is ennglish as well as the mandarin, spanish and french. It is very disappointing to us as why this best policy should reverse back.why they have to do this.to me,this should not happened.if our country really want to move forward and produce the best human capital,we should continue the PPSMI policy as the best way to ensure our country move advanced nation as well as able to produce the best young people who will became a future leader in future time
I am very sympathy especially to the students either primary school and secondary school. They are one who have suffers of this backward policy. To me,it is seems like they are white mice that been used as experiments to experiments certain thing.I really sympathy of this people. Why they have to suffer of this policy.
Can we have single education policy that reliable yet suitable to our children without sacrifes future of them.As a students i really wish that the end of the day,our children in today and the future will able to get a best education witout constant changing policyand hassle of it.
let hope in the future, our children will able to get a best education so that they able contribute their effort to our beloved nation.
Wednesday, July 8, 2009
As malaysian, why we have to cahange this policy. From 2003 policy of PPSMI which is introduced by our ex-prime minister,Tun Dr mahathir Mohammad envisioned the policy of PPSMI as great stimulus approach which good to our nation as our nation badly or poor in science and technology field.By having such policy whic is teaching science and mathematic in english ;our student will be able to be best student as they able mastering not english language but keep breast of the latest development in terms of science and technology. But today, sadly and disheartening to us especialy to me and malaysian people because the sudden change of policy back to Bahasa malaysia as medium of instruction give warning sign that our country will definely left behing in terms science and technology field.
the worst case scenari is that the student itself who became victiom of this experiment @policy by the ignornat butch and the idiot minister as well as the minisry of education itself.Deep down in my heart,i very sympatised to the parents, teachers,as well the most important is our student, the younger generation who have bear the burden ad suffer of this latest policy which is definely disheartening to them.To me this student as our future generation been treated like a white mice as experiment things.
why we have to change this latest policy back to old policy? why we dont have a single constant or permanent policy which can guarantee to produce a brightest student without to sacrifice our students itself?
i really sad of this sudden policy because this right time to have PPSMI in our school to produce best student.I really sad and disheartening andf sympathise to student who working so hard mastering the english language as well as the parents who have to buy books text for the children and the most important things, our teacher who worked so hard to use this english language to teach them in PPSMI.
As malaysian citizen and student,i really sad of it.It looks this education minister are not making wise decision but instead making this situatiuon getting worse.i wont be suprised if some malaysian people have also same view of this policy.
Eventhough that the teaching of PPSMI back to all policy ,as malaysian,i support of the PPSMI as main policy to produce the brightest student in science and mathematics fields
I hope that it never repeated again.

According to the wikipedia resources,(http://en.wikipedia.org./wiki/concordancer),the concordances is a computer programtaht automatically constructs concordancers. The output of the concordancers may serve as input to a translation memory system for computer assisted translation. The concordancer also used in corpus linguistic to retrieve alphatecically or otherwi sorted lists of linguistic data from corpus in question.
Concordances had several it function.Concordances programme turn the electronic texts into the database which can search.Usually the words queries are always possible but most of the programme also offer the possibility of searching for word combinations within a specific range of words and looking up parts of words.
Concordancers search what is called the corpus(the plural is corpora),which is basically a database of language. There ara many in exstince in both general and specialised, although no corpus can be regarded as complete.Bear in mind that the concordances are only good for searching database.
The summary for the article about the concordancer in ELT
In this article about the concordancers in ELT(English Language Teaching)
It is talking about the concordancer which is a piece of the software, either installed on a computer or accesed through the website which cab be used to search ,acces or analyse language from corpus. The concordancers can helps us in several ways.
The concordancers can be usefull to the students to search the information such as exploring the collocations, looking their own errors, understanding the different uses or meaning, finding the genuine examples and the material creation. However the there are several problems that related to the concordances. Its information are high standards that too challeging for the lower students.it is alsoThere are, however, some corpora which are collected from more restricted sources and some that are even collected from non native / student use of language. An example of one such concordancer is at: http://www.edict.com.hk/concordance .Secondly,Some online concordancers such as http://www.spaceless.com will search only selected web pages, so you can limit the amount of input your students get.
Nogt all the concordancers are usefull to the student and the teachers and some it can be complex. It is also about the internet connection where not all the students had access to the internet during the class. In conclusion, the conccordancers can be usefull to the students as well as the teachers as it important resources that helps the student and teacher to enchance their knowledge.
My personal view on the concordancers is that it is usefull to the students and teachers as the concordancers is a list of words in piece of the text or a collection of texts. It is usefull for the lingusitic people where he/she can learn the langugaes as well as the grammars and the words. It is also benefits to the teachers in certain subject that related to the languages. It is because the teachers are able to enhance their knowledge by getting the information from the cocnordances and assisting them in the language subject such as English Language teaching. The students were able improve their language proffeciency as the concordancers are providing the new words or language whcih is usefull and effective wasys. In conlusion,we say that the concordancers are very usefull to the students and the teachers iself in English language teaching.

Title; How the blogging asssist the language learning to improve and enhance their writing skill.
The blog can improve the writing skill as well as the producing a good writer on the blog.
Wrriting the blog improve the writing skill.
Do you know that writing can be enhanced by writing journals or blogs.
The new age has given us a new way to write our journals. The internet has given us blogs.
I for one like blogging and it's my way to enhance or to improve my writing. It does not only expresses my thoughts but also improves my writing skills.
I advise english learners to try and practice your writing skills. If you're reluctant to post a blog entry, try it out with comments. Like posting comments on my blogs.
Scared that you might write it incorrectly, don't worry we're all learners. We learn by committing mistakes first. Leave a comment on my blogs, and I will correct them.
If you would want me to correct them -- please indicate it in your comment.
I want to make it clear that I am going to correct your comments on my blogs and not your blog entries. I don't have that much time to dwell on it. But if you would want me to be your online tutor, then that would be another story.
If you would want me to be your online tutor, just send me a message.
This source from the URL Website;www.englishbaby/lessons/4360/member_submitted/writing_blog_can_improve_writing_s
it is show that the writing blog can improve the language learner skill.it is because the blog written by blogger give an advantage to him or her to acquire the writing skill and at the same time ,he or she able express their thought and views.
In second opinion also give an opinion about the enhance of the writing skill by the blog.
You already know that the main reason why I blog is to enhance my English communication skills because there’s no other way that I know to enhance it but in writing alone. It’s true that I finished my college with high grades in English, but I am actually really bad in speaking and writing in English.
I once applied as College Teacher in one of the universities in Quezon City, but I was not accepted, and learned that evaluators gave me a grade with a big remark: “Poor English Communication and with Provincial Accent”. That was the most embarassing experience that I have. But it encouraged me to find ways to enhance my communication skills (in English).
And so I started blogging (year 2003). I tried to write my thoughts and let the world read those things I wrote. I might not noticed my mistakes but at least some readers told me about it. I remember that few of the visitors commented on my grammar in my posts, “Boyzone Member A Gay” and “Pacquiao vs Larios Boxing Bout“. I am actually hoping that someone can comment on this blog again like that because I know criticizing me will lead me to learn something.
And now that I’m already on my one year blogging on this blog, I think, I get some improvements….
And yes, there’s a great improvement on my writing style, spelling and grammar compared to my old posts. I can actually write a post in just 15 minutes without writing it first in a blank paper as draft. But of course it’s not yet the end. There might be a little success in that but I still need to enhance it more and more. Maybe until everybody will recognize me as one of the great bloggers around the world.

The advantages and disadvantages of the blog.
August 23, 2004Blogs and blogging: advantages and disadvantagesBy Gerry McGovernIsn’t it interesting that some of the most significant ‘revolutions’ of the last twenty years have all had to do with writing? How retro is that? First we had email, then webpages, then mobile phone texting, and now blogs. All this reflects a trend whereby the world is becoming more formal in how it communicates. Instead of body language and endless conversations, communication has shifted towards endless words on a screen.Bloggers are people with attitude. They say there’s a book inside everybody. Well, the Web and blogs have let the book out! There has literally been an explosion of opinion. Traditionally, public relations was about honing a silvery message that communicated exactly what the organization wanted us to hear. Now, we can hear all sorts of voices on the subject. It’s true democracy at work. The advantages of blogs from an organizational perspective include the following:
The consumer and citizen are potentially better informed and this can only be good for the long-term health of our societies and economies.
Blogs have potential to help the organization develop stronger relationships and brand loyalty with its customers, as they interact with the ‘human face’ of the organization through blogs.
Blogs, in an intranet environment, can be an excellent way of sharing knowledge within the organization.
Blogs can be a positive way of getting feedback, and keeping your finger on the pulse, as readers react to certain pieces, suggest story ideas, etc.
Blogs can build the profile of the writer, showcasing the organization as having talent and expertise.
The disadvantages of blogs are:
Most people don’t have very much to say that’s interesting, and/or are unable to write down their ideas in a compelling and clear manner.
I have often found that the people who have most time to write have least to say, and the people who have most to say don’t have enough time to write it. Thus, the real expertise within the organization lays hidden, as you get drowned in trivia.
Like practically everything else on the Web, blogs are easy to start and hard to maintain. Writing coherently is one of the most difficult and time-consuming tasks for a human being to undertake. So, far from blogs being a cheap strategy, they are a very expensive one, in that they eat up time. As a result, many blogs are not updated, thus damaging rather than enhancing the reputation of the organization.
Organizations are not democracies. The Web makes many organizations look like disorganizations, with multiple tones and opinions. Contrary to what some might think, the average customer prefers it if the organization they are about to purchase from is at least somewhat coherent.
There’s money in words; real value, real worth. I’m not a blogger but I do have this newsletter and I can tell you that these 500 or so words that I publish every week have seen a major return on investment for me. As an individual, I would highly recommend that you have some sort of publishing strategy, whether it be a blog, newsletter, writing articles for magazines, website or whatever. This is an age where you will build your professional reputation word by word. Start off by finding something people care about and that you care about.
This is show that the blog are usefull to the language learner as it help the language learner to improve and to enchance the writing skill which is very vital in our life.
Blog became useful as the language learner to express their thought and share their thought with other especially the blogger community without fear and favour.
it is also enhance the language profiency as well as the grammar itself.

READING FOR THE INFORMATION.
Workkeys,ACT:READING FOR THE INFORMATION TEST CHARACTERISTIC.
Reading for Information.
Business and employees face rising requirements for reading and math skills in today's workplaces. An American Management Association survey in 2000 of midsized and larger businesses found that 38% of job applicants taking employer-administered tests lacked the reading and math skills needed in the jobs for which they applied. Reading assessments need to focus on written materials that are used by employees in the workplace.
The WorkKeys Reading for Information test measures the skill people use when they read and use written text in order to do a job. The written texts include memos, letters, directions, signs, notices, bulletins, policies, and regulations. It is often the case that workplace communications are not necessarily well-written or targeted to the appropriate audience. Reading for Information materials do not include information that is presented graphically, such as in charts, forms, or blueprints.
Sample items—Level 3, Level 4, Level 5, Level 6, Level 7
There are five levels of difficulty. Level 3 is the least complex and Level 7 is the most complex. The levels build on each other, each incorporating the skills assessed at the preceding levels. For example, at Level 5, individuals need the skills from Levels 3, 4, and 5. The reading materials at Level 3 are short and direct. The material becomes longer, denser, and more difficult to use as readers move toward Level 7. The tasks also become more complex as readers move from Level 3 to Level 7. At Level 3, readers begin by finding very obvious details and following short instructions. At the more complex levels, tasks can also involve more application and interpretation.
